The Wedding

July 19, 2009

It was perfect. It was scheduled to be outside, and it poured all morning… then the sun came out an hour before the ceremony. It stayed sunny until we were finished with photos and on our way to the reception. Perfect.

Carrie was a breathtaking bride… here are some photos (the only ones I have)

Carrie was as cool as a cucumber the whole day- even when it was pouring down rain, she wasn’t nervous, didn’t have one butterfly… until the photographer told us that we had 3 minutes until it was time to head to the ceremony spot. She took some pepto and deep breaths… and then it was time to meet her dad. She’s an only child- so it was very sweet and very emotional.

The flowers were absolutely beautiful! I cut off the bottom of the stems when I got home and pt them into a vase so they’ll stay
(my dress worked perfectly!)

P1010123At the end, I walked out with 2 of the groomsmen, handing my bouquet to one of them. It got a good laugh.
(notice the mother of the bride in the front row on the left of us, in green- she laughed harder than anyone)

P1010156The wedding was more fun than I ever could have imagined. Everything went perfectly, and there was so much love surrounding the whole day. She and Paul are off to Jamaica for the week for a well deserved honeymoon!

I wish them all the love in the world!!

Update: More Photos 🙂

You are right; your dress worked perfectly! The fabric looks luscious, and I love that color. Your hair is so pretty, too…oh, and I nearly forgot: the bride was lovely. =) So glad that you had a wonderful time, and that she was smart enough to ask you to step in.
